Ibba Girls School in South Sudan - fundraising


We have been raising funds especially to enable girls to get equal access to an education. We continue to explore the issues of why fundraising is necessary and talking about taking action for social justice.

Year 6 Enrichment Day


Year 6 enjoyed a morning of learning activities inspired by English literature as part of our 'enriching the curriculum' initiaitve

School Council present their ideas to the Ealing Youth Summit


Our elected school council went off to take part in a borough-wide debates on pressing issues. We encourage the development of strong pupil voice and we were immensely proud of our council members who challenged other delegates about the issue of 'loneliness in the community' with other schools and the wider community. 6RP’s Class Assembly - the Second World War


Through drama, costume and songs, 6RP really gave us all a sense of what it might have been like being a child in London in 1939. Well done everyone - great learning for us all.

Remembrance Day


Reception pupils made a class poppy wreath to remember the soldiers who fought and died in the First World War. We normally lay these at the local war memorial, but as it is undergoing renovation, we made a special place to lay our wreath.

6KW’s Inspirational Assembly - Who is your hero?


This morning 6KW put on a fantastic assembly for parents and pupils as they challenged us to think about 'Who is your hero?' They challenged us to begin changing the world by looking at ourselves and making a start there.

Y5 at the National Gallery - Art in action!


Year 5 spent the day at the National Gallery taking part in the Talking Paintings' workshop which deepened their understandng of various paintings and helped them to tell stories about the characters.

Saving Humpty Dumpty


Year 1 were set a challenge to reverse the fate of dear old Humpty Dumpty so he wouldn't break if he fell of his wall. They used their research and design skills to create a 'Humpty Dumpty Safe Box' to protect him if he fell over. How did they do? Have they stopped Humpty from cracking into pieces? Have they found a solution to this problem?

Famous Fossil Hunter visits Year 3


"Mary Anning" visited Year 3 today. Students were very excited to be able to handle fossils dating back over two hundred million years!

Year 3 Choir


Year 3 are very much looking forward to singing in Mass. They have learnt their first motet and taken their cassocks and cottas for the first time. Well done everyone and thank you for making our worship at mass beautiful.

Black History Month in Year 3


Year 3 have been celebrating black history month by looking at the contributions individuals have made. We loved your performance poetry and the confidence you are developing.

Black History Month - Year 1


Together, we found out some interesting facts about his life and began to understand why he is such an important person. We then identified the Christian values Nelson Mandela displayed throughout his life such as perseverance, resilience and kindness.

Big Write Topics Autumn 2


The Big Write is a one hour session where the lights are dimmed, calming music plays, candles burn, and pupils write freely on a topic they have discussed as homework in the week before. It is a great opportunity to encourage talk across the community, and develops a very strong sense of writer's voice.

Prehistory Mystery in Year 3


Year 3 became archaeologists and travelled back in time, to a time when no one could write.
