We were delighted to welcome Roy Bartlett – a real-life evacuee – back into our school this week to give us first-hand insight into life in Ealing during World War II.

Mr Bartlett has been a regular visitor to Year 6 over the past few years and this year he has teamed up with the Walpole Park Education Programme.

We heard about his amazing experiences as an evacuee and participated in role plays that helped us to understand what life was like in Ealing during the war.
