Anti-Bullying Week in Year 5

Published

As part of anti-bullying week, children in Year 5 discussed what bullying is. They were given a selection of scenarios and had to decide whether or not they were examples of bullying using the acronym STOP (Several Times On Purpose) to help them.

They also discussed how Childline is available and can help children who need someone to talk to. The children used role-play to simulate conversations between children and Childline operators to demonstrate how bullying problems can be solved. During the role-plays, the children gave suitable advice to those with the problems on how they could deal with their situations and who they could talk to.
