Christ the Saviour's Year 5 Gospel Choir and String Collective performed at the Ealing Youth Prom this weekend.

Our Gospel Choir practice weekly during school time with Reverend Crossfield and Adam Rust. Our pupils have performed publicly on several occasions including singing to raise money for Street Child Africa and during our Mass for Pentecost. Pupils performed "Again I Say Rejoice'- Israel Houghton and "To The Lamb"- Darwin Hobbs with Twyford Gospel Choir. All pupils were commended for their mature approach to the performance, excellent singing and fantastic behaviour.

Christ the Saviour's Violin Ensemble (Kwaku, Kwabena, Qinuo, Grace, Ida, Israh, Maria and Daniel A) joined the borough wide String Collective to perform "Air on a G String"- J.S Bach and "Stringfusion" -Mike Simpson. CtS pupils rehearse as a  group with Alice Hall once a week and come together with pupils from more than 8 other schools for large performances. They performed at the Music For Youth Festival earlier in the year.

Many thanks to all the parents that came to support our pupils at this magnificent Prom held throughout the weekend. It was a wonderful atmosphere and a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to perform in such a professional environment. We are immensly proud of them all!
