Fun at Sayers Croft

Published

Year 6 have had a wonderful first day at Sayers Croft. The weather has been cold but sunny and the pupils have enjoyed a variety of activities, exploring the woods on the compass trail, solving problems in the maze and leading each other down the blindfold trail. Some groups have also already tried archery, caving and the new high ropes course.

Last night we were treated to a frosty night walk; we followed a reflector trail through the woods and then stargazed at the clear night sky. It was such a beautiful night and many of the constellations were visible. We saw Orion, the Great Bear, the Seven Sisters and the North Star and heard the Greek myths of their origins. For pictures of the days activities do go to the galleries.
