Happy 90th Birthday Your Majesty!

Published

Dressed in their finest clothes, the children in Year 5 spent the day celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday.

After an exciting assembly (and much flag waving!) the children visited the fantastic royal art gallery before starting their year group activities. They entered the Royal Cinema where they made their own Queen-themed popcorn boxes and watched a documentary about our monarch, made wonderful collages using a selection of pictures of Queen Elizabeth II from throughout her life, and also learnt how to play the national anthem using just bottles and water!

It was a fun-filled day enjoyed by all children and teachers. Long may she reign indeed!
