Pupils thoroughly enjoyed investigating the wildlife pond and exploring the woodland area.  Through examining a variety of mini-beasts and amphibians in their natural environment, pupils discovered how animals often have to adapt in order to survive, as well as understanding how animals and plants are connected by food chains.  Wellington boots were required due to the rain for a couple of the classes, but we all had a fantastic time and learnt a huge amount about biodiversity, conservation and our natural world.
