Making Maths Make Sense

Following setting pupils into fluid groups for the teaching of mathematics on the Broadway last Autumn, we were delighted to see so many pupils achieve so highly in national sats tests in July.

In the Spring Term of 2012, we introduced a revolutionary teaching system to teach mathematics called Making Maths Make Sense (sometimes known as Richard Dunne Maths).  All teachers and teaching assistants had a great day with the Director of the programme (Donna Johnson) today for a whole school training session.  We look forward to introducing this second wave of training in our teaching of mathematics.
