Today the Year 5 and 6 Netball teams celebrated the end of a successful 2014-2015 season.

Earlier this month, the Year 6 team played their last match and had a comfortable win over Hobbayne Primary School, gaining a 9-2 victory. Whilst the Year 5s were rather overhwelmed by Hobbayne in the third quarter of their last match, they nevertheless put up a good fight, losing 3-8.

As we say goodbye to the outgoing netball squads, we want to thank them for their hard work and commitment in representing CTS over the past year, and we wish the Year 6s every success in their future netball careers.

We are already beginning to look forward to the new 2015-2016 season. After May half term we will run an Open Netball Club for any of the current Year 4 and Year 5 girls who are interested in learning the game. The Netball Club will run on a Tuesday after school, for six weeks, beginning on Tuesday June 2nd. At the end of the six weeks we will select the School Netball Squad who will start training together in September. For more details of the Netball Club please see the letter which is available on our website, or which should have arrived home with the Year 4 and 5 girls this week.
