On Monday after school the CTS Netball Squad travelled to Pitshanger Park to play North Ealing Primary School.
For both schools it was their first match of the season, so there were a few nerves as the girls took their positions on court for the first quarter. The two teams played a High Five match, a version of netball that requires players to switch on and off the court every quarter, rotating around the different positions on the court. This means that in the course of the match every player has to play attacking, defending and shooting positions. Quite a challenge!
All the girls played extremely well, growing in confidence during the game. The result was two victories for CTS. The established team won their game 16-1, whilst the emerging team won 2-0.
It was a lovely afternoon's netball, and the support of all the parents who came to watch was really appreciated - thank you!
