New Mezzanine Classroom

Class 6DM are delighted that the acoustic screen separting the mezzanine gallery classroom and the great hall has been installed over the half term.

Whilst re-building works go on, class 6DM are using what will eventually become the music room next year.  The screen affords them lovely views of the great hall and really does work as a wonderful sound barrier whilst also allowing more natural light to stream into the hall.

We took this photograph as the class were researching on the issue of justice as part of their work in RE and the 'Rights Respecting School' materials.  Thankfully, the screen was so effective that we couldn't hear the loud music being played in the hall.
