Outdoor Learning and Fun with Year 6

The Year 6 pupils had a wonderful three days at Grosvenor Hall in Kent this week.

The activities during the week aimed to build team work and communication skills and to stretch pupils with risk-taking activities which cannot take place within the usual classroom environment. Some of the pupils' favourite activities were rock climbing, abseiling, outdoor problem solving and aeroball - a sport which can best be described as basketball on trampolines!

Whilst Year 6 were blessed with a beautiful sunny start to their time away, on the second day the rain really poured down. However, Year 6 showed great determination and resilience and continued with the activities undaunted, embracing the mud and rain with noted enthusiasm!
