School Council enjoyed presenting their wonderful ideas to other pupils

Today selected members of the School Council attended an inspiring meeting on health and wellbeing.  The day started by listening to amazing stories about how young people have brought about positive change in their communities.  After that, pupils had the opportunity to think about and discuss issues on themes such as homelessness, loneliness, mental health and having disabilites.  This was an extremely informative sesssion where pupils had the chance to debate on how a range of issues may affect your health and wellbeing.  After this, the pupils chose a subject that they want to tackle in school and the wider community.  Pupils at Christ the Saviour chose the theme of loneliness and they presented their ideas to lots of other schools.  We look forward to seeing them implement some of their amazing ideas in school over the coming weeks and months!
