Sunflower Growing Competition

Published

Pupils had great fun growing sunflowers over the summer holidays.

Pupils from across all year groups were given one task over the summer - to grow the biggest and tallest sunflower. The challenge was set and the results were absolutely stunning. Some sunflowers were so tall that children needed a ladder to measure them. Well done to everyone who took part. It was truly amazing to see everyone's hard work and effort. The competition was such a success that we are already planning it for next year. Many thanks to Savills Estate Agents for organising the competition and handing out the prizes to the pupils.

Congratulations to the winners who were announced at assembly last Friday. A gallery of pictures can be found here.
