Tom Horrex & George Koutas ride 55km to raise funds for the All Saints Youth Group, Ealing Common

TOM Horrex  (aged 14) & GEORGE Koutas (aged 10) are doing a challenging 55km bike ride near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire  to raise funds for the All Saints Youth Group, EALING Common.

So far the boys have raised an impressive £780 and are at 39% of their target which is £2000.

With just over a week to go the boys are training hard for the event. The bike ride which is called the Richardson’s Rumble starts in small village called St Ives, in Cambridgeshire & meanders through 4 counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northants & Hertfordshire. The boys are busy getting fit & are on a rigorous running, cycling & playing football regime. CHRIS KENNEDY, the All Saints Youth group leader &who is also doing the ride commented “the Youth Group is going so well that we are now in an expansion phase with members meeting 3 times a week as well as going on various excursions, however, we URGENTLY needs funds in order to continue running the Youth Group &enabling the expansion to happen”. The Youth Group covers a wide catchment area in Ealing including those from income deprived areas & housing estates. It is run by a host of volunteers. The boys are to be accompanied by their mothers Rose & Zoe and the youth group leader Chris Kennedy.
