Viking Day- Year 5

Published

Over the past two days, year 5 have been involved in an exciting, engaging Viking workshop. Dressed as Vikings themselves, the children learnt about Viking trade, weapons, battle, food and religions. They had the opportunity to handle real artefacts and ask questions about the Viking way of life as well as playing games which taught them about Viking Gods and food choices. It's clear that the workshop has deeply enriched their History learning, the children produced posters detailing why the Vikings were so successful and they all proved to be fountains of knowledge! Take a look at this album to see more photos from the day.
