The 'We Day' ethos is "If we don't take action, who will?" and inspires young people to be the positive change in our world today.

On Wednesday 7th March 2018 the school council went to Wembley Arena and participated in inspirational celebrations and talks. WE Day celebrates young people making a positive change in their own lives and local communities. The movement, which started in Canada, believes that anyone can make a difference whether big or small.

We enjoyed listening to a wide range of inspirational speakers from all walks of life and even managed to hear from celebritites such as Katie Piper, Lily Collins and Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie!

The theme for many speakers was on overcoming barriers and hardships such as being a refugee, living with chronic illnesses and bullying. Needless to say, our students have been thoroughly inspired and are keen to carry on making a difference in our school and local community with many projects in the pipeline. Watch this space...
