West London YMCA raise over £6k sleeping out in our playground last weekend

Published

The West London YMCA have written a lovely letter to Father Andrew and myself to thank the church and school for the use of the playground to host a fundraising 'sleep rough' last weekend.

Thirty seven people took part on a cold, wet night and raised over £6,000 for Youth Homelessness.

We are also delighted that one of the fundraisers was a youg man names Kit who was a former pupil of the school and is now aged 26. He read Zoology at St Andrews, and is now a commissioned Household Cavalry Officer. He will be leading a mounted troop at state occasions like the Trooping of the Colour and the State Opening of Parliament.

Great to be workng with the YMCA!
