World Water Day- did you know?
World Water Day, on 22 March every year, is about taking action to tackle the water crisis. Did you know that today, 1.8 billion people use a source of drinking water contaminated with faeces, putting them at risk of contracting cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio? Children at Christ the Saviour have been researching and learning about water inequality this past week. This has led to many reflective classroom discussions and children to be thankful for the clean water that we have access to in our lives.
