Observing mummies from Egypt

The year 3 children took an exciting trip to the British Museum to immerse themselves in Egyptian artefacts and treasures. The children took part in a fascinating workshop, and got to learn from one of the museums's archaeologists. Artefacts from Egypt and even ancient mummies were on display. Sensibily, the children naviagted the museum using their previous learning to enhance their experience. They were excited to see the Rosetta Stone first hand and were keen to share their thoughts with the adults and their peers! Everyone enjoyed the trip and the children displayed exemplary behaviour.
