An example of the English Gothic revival style in Christ the Saviour Church

Year five have been enjoying learning about the Victorians this term.

To enhance and deepen our knowledge about the Victorians, link directly to to our local area of Ealing (the Queen of Suburbs), we welcome one of our visiting professional artists to lead a unit of work in printing this week.

Pupils work in printing will be inspired by the designs emplyed by the architect of our school Church, Sir Gilbert Scott, and especially some of the more embelished interior decoration as design by George Frederick Bodley, an English architect working in the Gothic revival style.

Watch out for our Gothic revival style printing which will adorn the corridors, classrooms and our website galleries later this week.
