Year 2 Mindfulness and Resilience workshop

Published

Year 2 went on a school trip to Walpole Park for a mindfulness and resilience workshop. We had a guided sensory walk around the park that involved listening to the different sounds around us, feeling the ground under our feet and exploring the natural environment.

The children took part in a range of different activities. Some of these involved working in pairs to make their way over different natural obstacle courses. At one point a partner was blind folded and the other had to guide them over the objects. This encouraged the children to work together, build their relationships and use their other senses.
