Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Florence Nightingale Museum last week. The sun was shining and the beautiful views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, made for a spectacular setting for their trip.

The children learnt all about Florence Nightingale, her life and the amazing work she did. They took part in a variety of activities, looking at original artefacts from Florence Nightingale's life and even managed to dress up in some period pieces of clothing.

The trip has helped the children to consolidate their knowledge and studying of this subject back at school.
