Year 2 Visit the Roald Dahl Museum

Published

Last week, Year 2 enjoyed a visit to the wonderful Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden. The children engaged with a range of activities and were able to explore the books and author in a way they had never done before.

Year 2 were given the chance to walk the streets of Great Missenden on a tour to see where Roald Dahl found so many of his wonderful ideas and inspirations. They travelled up to St Peters and St Pauls church where they were able to follow the BFG's footprints to Roald Dahl's grave.

Back at the museum, children were able to freely explore and interact with the many different exhibitions and learnt all about Roald Dahl, his younger years and the books themselves.

Year 2 had a truly wonderful experience at the Roald Dahl Museum and now armed with their own Roald Dahl creative booklets, we are sure there will be a new generation of Roald Dahl writers flooding out of CTS.
