Year 3 Release their butterflies

Over the last few weeks, Year three has been home to some very hungry caterpillars. These caterpillars began their journey of metamorphosis and after a week chrysalised! Last Friday, the beautiful butterflies emergmed from their cocoons and finally learned to spread their wings. The children enjoyed observing and watching this amazing change. The process of change and new life was discussed between the children, and they were excited to finally relase the butterflies into their natural habitat. All of the children, and year 3 team gathered in the church grounds to set the beautiful ,painted lady butterflies free. The children watched as their new friends took flight and began their next adventure! It was a very special afternoon, which all the children enjoyed!
