Year 5 Visit the Science Museum

Published

The children rounded off their 'Earth and Space' in science topic with an exciting day at the Science Museum. They explored the space exhibit, learning about how people live in space, how rockets are launched and of famous space expeditions. They even got to see a piece of moon rock which was very exciting! They became hands on scientists in the interactive 'Wonderlab' exhibit, learning about wealth of scientifc ideas from how different forces affect us, how electricity is made and how pulleys and friction work together. The children represented the school wonderfully and we look forward to our final school visit in the final summer term. Click here to see some photos from the day.
