Year 5’s Egg-citing Science Fair

Published

It was wonderful to see so many Year 5 children take part in this year's Science Fair. They demonstrated great scientific skill as they displayed their projects and experiments whilst explaining the science behind them.

The range of investigations carried out was wide and varied - although egg-related experiments seemed to be popular this year - and amongst the entries we saw how lava lamps work, the science behind kaleidoscopes, whether the colour of food affects its taste and plenty more.

All the projects are currently being judged and the top entries will go through to the annual Ellen WIlkinson Science Fair.
