Year 6 Play in Ealing Borough Netball Finals

Published

On a surprisingly cold and grey afternoon, the five winners of the Ealing Primary School Netball Leagues met at Ellen Wikinson High School to compete in the netball finals for the title of 'Ealing Champions'. It was a round robin competition, with all the teams playing each other in rapid succession. In a blur of bibs and balls players changed on and off court, rotated positions according to the High Five Netball rules and then within minutes were back on court again for the next game. By the end of the afternoon CTS had secured a very respectable third place, beaten only by St Vincents, the champions, and St John's the runners up. It was a great afternoon of highly competitive netball - well done Year 6! Many thanks to the parents who came along and stood on the cold sidelines to support. We appreciated you being there!
