Year 6’s Visit to RAF Hendon

Published

Last Tuesday Year 6 enjoyed an excellent day out at the aviation museum, RAF Hendon. Pupils got to see aeroplanes that fought in the Battle of Britain and experienced what it was like to wear an RAF Uniform. Pupils were guided through the experience of living through the Blitz by an ARP warden and taught how to make their own gas mask boxes.
