07 Feb Learning a new sport: Kurling
On Friday eight children from Year 3 and Year 4 travelled to Cardinal Wiseman High School in Greenford to participate in a kurling competition.
Kurling is a Winter Olympic Sport and was an appropriate activity for such a cold day, but fortunately the event took place inside.
After learning about how to play, the children split into two teams of four and set about enjoying their kurling experience. All of the children were soon able to roll their stones accurately, and gauge how much pressure to push with.
The children did superbly to learn a new sport, compete against other schools, and to play fairly. Well done to all involved!
