Gymnastics and Dance Festival

On Friday, just before the half term holiday, our UKS2 gymnastics squad took part in the Willow Tree SSP Gymnastics and Dance Festival at Ellen Wilkinson School. The children had spent weeks preparing for this, meeting every Thursday morning before school for 6 weeks, to choreograph and practise their sequence with their coach, Ms Aibhlin.

At the festival, the team performed their sequence to all of the participants from the other schools and were able to watch the other schools’ performances too. Ms Aibhlin was very proud of the team in terms of both their behaviour and their final performance.
