Year One DT

Last week the Year One children had an exciting time designing and building their own playground equipment for their Design and Technology project.

They thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience, using their creativity to construct swings, slides, and climbing structures. Collaboration was a key part of the activity, as they shared their ideas with classmates, discussing designs and improvements so they could create a strong and stable model.

Their enthusiasm and teamwork were shown throughout the day. It was inspiring to see their problem-solving skills in action, proving that we have future architects in the year group! This activity not only encouraged creativity but also created a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work.
