22 May Digital Leaders 2020/21
Brand new to Christ the Saviour this year, we will be introducing The Digital Leaders Programme. This programme is designed to train selected pupils, who have a passion for technology, as experts and advocates for the use of new and appropriate technologies in schools; allowing them to act as ambassadors and peer mentors for staff and other pupils.
Each Digital Leader will have access to a comprehensive training programme to support the development of their skills and understanding in the role of a Digital Leader.
Key skills and knowledge developed through the programme include:
– the ability to describe and model safe and responsible use of technologies.
– demonstrating appropriate knowledge and understanding of technologies relevant to our school.
– demonstrating excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and pupils.
– the ability to collect ‘Pupil Voice’ from across the school and address key issues accordingly.
This term, pupils in Year 5 were able to apply to become Digital Leaders. Many pupils submitted strong applications, answering specific questions and referencing why they would make successful Digital Leaders. The standard was very high! Thank you to all pupils who submitted their applications.
We are delighted to congratulate the following children as our first Christ the Saviour Digital Leaders.
