Christ the Saviour has a compulsory school uniform which is worn with pride by all children in the school from Nursery to Year 6. Please look carefully at our uniform list as well as our shoe guide.

Pupils at Christ the Saviour are proud of their school uniform which helps foster a positive learning environment and promotes our school ethos and values. We have very few branded items on our uniform list in an effort to keep costs reasonable for parents. We offer regular good quality second hand uniform sales and a hardship fund for families who may require additional support to purchase school uniform.

Alternatively, almost all garments may be bought from local high street stores.

Nursery

  • Pupils in Nursery wear a red smock, which can be purchased from our Grove Site office.
  • This should be worn with the following uniform items:
  • Black leggings or tracksuit bottoms
  • Black long or short sleeve t-shirt
  • Black socks
  • White or black trainers (we recommend simple velcro fasteners unless your child is able to tie their shoe laces independently)

Reception – Year 6

Blazers (Broadway Site pupils)

  • Black blazer with embroidered badge – must be worn every day  –  this is an optional uniform item for pupils at the Grove Site

Trousers and Skirts

  • Black trousers
  • Black shorts
  • Black skirt (must reach the knee)
  • Black pinafore

Shirts and Jumpers

  • White shirt – long or short sleeved, must close at the neck (button or velcro) to be able to wear our school tie
  • Red gingham shirt (this is worn without a tie)
  • School tie – must be worn with white shirts
  • Red cardigan or V-neck jumper

Summer Uniform

  • Red gingham dresses may be worn between 1st April and 30th September –  black or red socks are worn.
  • Plain red or black summer caps may be worn for sun protection in the summer months and removed indoors.

Whole School

Footwear

  • Black, enclosed leather shoes – no boots, flashing lights or other decoration – please see our Shoe Guide
  • Black socks or tights. Red tights may also be worn at the Grove Site only.

Coats

  • Plain red or black winter coat or black cagoule.

Bags

  • School book-bag or rucksack

PE Kit

  • Black P.E. bag
  • House coloured T-shirt with embroidered ‘lozenge CtS logo’
  • Knee length house-coloured socks – or black socks
  • Plain black sports shorts with no branding or logo
  • Plain black jogging bottoms for winter PE lessons with no branding or logo
  • Black long-sleeved T-shirt to be worn under House t-shirts for outdoor games in winter
  • House coloured school sweatshirt with embroidered CtS logo
  • Pair of trainers (plain black or  plain white) – please see our shoe guide above.
  • Hooded tops of any sort are not part of our PE kit and must not be worn to school

Other

  • Simple stud earrings may be worn (pupils must be able to remove earrings for P.E. themselves). No other jewellery is permitted.
  • A simple wrist watch is allowed. Smart watches are not permitted.
  • Hair accessories, hats, scarves and gloves should be plain black or red.
  • Long hair must be tied back.
  • If pupils chose to dye their hair or add extensions it must be a nautral colour.
