Let’s celebrate Remote Learning!
Over the past half term the children have responded brilliantly to our remote learning; we are so proud of you all and the engagement, creativity and commitment you have shown. Thank you parents for all the support and help you have given your children and to all our teachers for all their hard work in delivering an engaging and exciting curriculum through Google Classroom.
We have been so impressed and uplifted by the learning the children have been sharing that we thought it was important to shout about it!
Please celebrate with us by looking through the gallery below which showcases just a small fraction of the work produced by children working at home from Reception through to Year 6 (if you click on the first image you can then scroll through the slide show). There are DT projects, practical maths, science experiments and posters, R.E reflections, creative history projects, persuasive writing and poetry, sets of instructions to build Iron men, art inspired by Van Gogh, computing projects and so much more. Our staff have found it hugely uplifting to see so many children practising their unique gifts.
We are missing the hubbub of our big, full school immensely. We would like nothing more than to have every child back in school and learning safety and are looking forward to that day, as we’re sure you are too.
Have a wonderful half term break and we look forward to seeing the children again, virtually, on Monday 22nd February. We will pray for a time we can be back together very soon.
