05 Mar Return to School on March 8th
We are really looking forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Monday March 8th. To avoid crowding at the school gate we will be operating the same staggered starts and collections as we did in the autumn term. Please see the timetable below for a reminder of the different slots:
When children return on Monday they should bring with them their green remote learning books so that their work can be shared and celebrated in class. Children should wear full school uniform or their school P.E kit if Monday is their P.E day. A reminder of your child’s P.E days can be found on the Year Group pages and details of our school uniform expectations are below.
As we return to school and help pupils to transition back into their usual school routines our focus for homework for the first few weeks will be on establishing good daily reading habits and completing maths and spelling homework using our familiar online platforms. Homework expectations for up until Easter can be found below; we expect to resume our usual timetable of homework in the summer term.
Year 1 | Daily reading and recording in red Reading diaries and learning of weekly spellings. |
Years 2 – 5 | Daily reading and recording in red Reading diaries; maths homework online using either mathletics or TTRS; practising of spellings on Edshed. |
Year 6 | Daily reading and recording in Reading Journals; maths homework online using either mathletics or TTRS; practising of spellings on Edshed. |
For full details of our reopening please do read the Head’s letter that was sent out last Friday and that can be found on our school website here.
