Year 6 Performance of Cats!

Year Six have been working hard since the half term break towards their performances this week of CATS the musical.

It’s been a great thrill for everyone to be back in the theatre acting, singing and dancing after a long and difficult fifteen months.

Doing productions in school offers a unique opportunity for growth for every child. At CtS we make sure that our productions are as inclusive as possible. This year each class bubble has rehearsed daily to prepare their own unique version of this celebrated musical, with the entire group involved throughout the 35-minute show.

It’s been a true pleasure to see how many children have embraced the sheer joy of being on stage and how many have courageously challenged themselves to give their best when the activities have taken them out of their comfort zone. Mr Macmillan and choreographer Sophie Allisstone have enjoyed sharing their many years of professional experience with the children to see them grow in skills and experience.
