Visiting RAF Hendon

The Year 6 pupils were delighted to fly off to RAF Hendon to help enrich their learning about the Second World War. Pupils learnt about the Battle of Britain, took part in a workshop about life on the home front and were even able to dress up as RAF officers. It was a fantastic day that made the history unit Year 6 are studying really come to life.
