Year 3 Poetry

Year Three have been exploring and creating many different genres of poetry.  You can quiz them about haiku, shape poems, nonsense poems and alliteration.  The children have really enjoyed exploring language and sharing wonderful vocabulary and ideas. Their imagination, creativity and team work has truly flowed.  The children will tell you that they now have many more tools in their poetry toolbox and that poems do NOT all have to rhyme.
