Christingle Fair

Last Friday we had a wonderful Christingle fair out in the playground after school. There was an abundance of tinsel, mulled wine, Christmas treats and community spirit! It was wonderful to see so many parents, staff and pupils enjoying the huge variety of stalls which included Santa’s grotto, a bouncy castle,  a tombola, a cakes stall, a raffle with amazing prizes and lots of exciting Christmas themed games to play.

The Year 6 House Captains did a fantastic job planning, organising and running their house stalls which this year raised a record amount of money, nearly £500 – a real achievement! Special congratulations go to red house who raised the most money and won the competition for the most successful house stall.

We would like to thank all the staff, parents and pupils who made the Christingle Fair such a special occasion. Particular thanks must go to the PTA committee for all their hard work in organising, planning and clearing up, we are so grateful for all you do for our school. The fair raised an outstanding £8,500 for our school – what a fabulous community effort!
