Local Science in Year 3

Year 3’s current Science topic is Plants and to start the topic children needed to first identify the wide range of things which classify as a plant. A trip to Walpole Park in Ealing allowed them to spot, discuss, record and identify several different types of plants.  Even this early in spring, they were able to spot bulbs, buds, shoots, leaves, flowers, reeds and trees.  We hope that over spring they will enjoy spotting even more blossoms, bulbs and new leaves as they appear around our local area.
