6AB and 6YJ Residential

Our first two Year 6 classes returned from their residential yesterday after a wonderful three days away. Their time was packed with chances to challenge themselves individually as they faced scary moments on the Zip wire, the Giant Swing and the Trapeze. Lots of other activites like the Low Ropes, the Challenge Course and Ambush gave them opportunities to build their team work and communication skills.

For some, the biggest challenge was sharing a room with five friends and having to keep it neat and tidy ready for Miss Goodman’s daily room inspection!

All in all it was a fantastic time of fun, friendship and growing in independence. Well done Year 6!
