03 Oct Macmillan Art Competition
This year for our annual Macmillan art competition children were asked to reflect on our school bible verse:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have receievd to serve others.”

Children were asked to produce a piece of art that showed people in our local community using their gifts to serve. The response was overwhelming with over 150 entries – the entries displayed a huge range of talent, variety and creativity, there were drawings, paintings, collage, model making and mixed media.
The art work showed a wide range of people who use their gifts, from firemen, nurses, and teachers, to dogs and their trainers who help us. In recognition of the life of Queen Elizabeth II many children also chose to focus their artwork on the Queen and her life of service.
Many thanks to our art specialist teacher, Mc McCulloch who had the very difficult task of picking the winners listed below:
