Victorious in Volleyball!

A team of Year 5 and 6 pupils travelled to Ellen Wilkinson this morning to take part in a Sitting Volleyball competition.

The tournament was played indoors in a round-robin format, meaning the team had the opportunity to play against many different schools and get plenty of time on court.

Despite never having played this game before, the children quickly picked up the rules and came away with an amazing six wins out of eight. There was some excellent serving and great reactions close to the net. As a result of this, CtS won bronze medals to take home, which was an incredible achievement!

The Spirit of the Games Value for the day was teamwork – all of the participants certainly adhered to this too. Well done to all involved, we are very proud of you!
