30 Mar Mental Health Champions
Our Mental Health Champions have been busy learning about what mental health is, how to stay mentally well and tips and strategies on how to manage things such as stress, anxiety and low mood. The Mental Health Champions have also been learning about active listening strategies and how to make sure others feel heard and understood.
Is something bothering you? Are you worried about a friendship? School work? The Mental Health Champions are going to support children across the school who have everyday worries such as school work and friendships. They have created a display with further information in the Broadway atrium and there is a place, on each year’s floor, to sign up to see them.
Finally, it is important to remember that if children have a really big worry that is making them feel scared or uncomfortable they need to seek help and guidance from a trusted adult such as a teacher or family member.
