30 Mar Quizzing Father Richard
We are very grateful to Father Richard who came into school this week to answer Year 6’s questions. This half term in R.E Year 6 have been learning about Jesus, the Lamb of God. As they have studied the Passover, the last supper and the mass Year 6 have gained a deeper understanding of what the apostle John meant when he called Jesus the ‘Lamb of God,’ but there is always more to be learned and more questions to be asked.
Our Year 6 pupils had prepared some very thoughtful and challenging questions for Father Richard, some of which are listed below:
What is the most important part of the mass?
What does the word sacrifice mean to you?
What is your favourite part of the mass?
How do science and history affect faith?
Which do you think is the best miracle in the bible?
Why did you choose to become a priest and how long did it take you?
Who created God?
Father Richard answered all of these questions (and many more!) with clarity, knowledge and wisdom – Thank you Father! If you would like to know more about what he said then do go and ask one of our Year 6s!
