Architect Club

A group of pupils have benefitted from a 6 week Architect’s Club, facilitated by Pitzhanger Manor and industry funded by architectural firm Alan Baxter.

Led by practitioner, Tatiana Gentil Machado, an architect, designer, and educator, the pupils investigated architecture through different sensory experiences and perceptions of space. They experienced architectural features while working with different basic architectural working-models. Using a range of materials and techniques, pupils explored concepts of material, texture, pattern, light, colour and structure. The photographs show them testing the seats they designed and made from coat hangers.
