5SD and 5FA Residential

Our first two Year 5 classes have really been enjoying their time away at their residential at Croft Farm Water Park in Gloucestershire. Depsite the grey skies and damp weather the children have been tackling every activity with enthusiasm – whether it is eating the delicious cooked breakfast or repelling down the abseiling tower!

The children have been building their water confidence with kayaking and raft building and improving their team work skills with activities like orienteering. There has been plenty of opportunity to learn new skills such as archery and even throwing the hammer!

Year 5 are hugely enjoying being out in the countryside with the lake, the ducks and the cows. They are hoping for a glimpse of sunhsine tomorrow before they come home!
