Hockey Silver!

Last Friday we took a team of UKS2 pupils to a mixed hockey tournament at St. Augustine’s school. The tournament began with a group stage and the CtS team had a fantastic start to the tournament; they played 4 group matches, winning all of them convincingly.

As winners of their group the team were very excited to get through to the semi finals – which they also won! Moving on to the final CtS faced a strong team, and despite playing very well they lost 4-2 to St Gregory’s.

Ms Jolliffe was very proud of the whole team. They listened and adapted to new rules, helped each other, worked together, showed determination and were kind to pupils from other schools. Congratulations on your silver medals everyone!
