We all had a fantastic day on Friday raising awareness about National Road Safety week by coming to school in our brightest clothes.
With the hours of daylight getting shorter and shorter at this time of year many of us are walking to and from school in the dark. Wearing bright clothes and decorating our bags with reflective keyrings and stickers can help us be safe as we travel; it is much easier for car, bus and lorry drivers to see us when we are wearing bright and reflective colours. If we can be bright and be seen then we can be safe!
We really enjoyed seeing all the bright outfits that pupils and staff wore to school and talking during the day about how to be safe as we walk to school – thank you JTAs for organising such a great day!
